Lets start with you introducing yourself and your team crypto related

I’m James, the founder of Curate. I’m a 33 year old tech enthusiastic from London, UK who’s building Curate, the next crypto marketplace rewarding shoppers and sellers with crypto!

Is the team anonymous?

Our core team consists of:

Mo; COO, who handles all the operations for Curate

Jas; Marketing strategist from London, UK

Alek and Foyez; Social media managers

Our development team consist of Shopify, Amazon, Energi and AirSwap talent.

So can you tell me exactly what $curate is all about? What is the usecase?

Curate is the first ever discovery marketplace rewarding shoppers with cryptocurrency cashback in the form of bitcoin, ethereum and our native token known as $XCUR, on ALL purchases.

Curate tokens can be spent in-app to save money on your next purchase.

The community curated content provides an infinite feed of hot trends, inspiring styles/non-fungible tokens/collectibles to capture imagination and a platform to attract every shopper or brand to buy/sell on.

Since we launched, Curate has attracted over 50,000 users across all social channels and attracted mentions on Forbes, Yahoo Finance and Investing.com.

$XCUR is the native curate token built on Ethereum.

$XCUR holders will be able to use their bought/earned tokens towards further purchases, as well as stake it on our recently launched staking app curate.finance as well as unicrypt.network.

Even for shopping you get paid? How does this proces work?

Yes, on all purchases. We work on a comeptive comission model with our merchants and sellers i.e all items sold on the app a % goes towards Curate, we then share this comission with the buyer.

So for example: You will be able to get a % back on purchases which you can use to spend on your next purchase, stake for interest or withdraw and cash out.

How long has this project been around and what did you achieve so far?

Since 2019 we’ve done the following:

  • XCUR token listed on UniSwap and soon P2PB2B.io
    - Beta demo iOS and Android app
    - Curate.finance staking platform
    - 5,591 app downloads without marketing
    - over 50,000 users across all social channels without marketing
    - mentions on bitcoin.com, yahoo finance, forbes, investing.com etc..

So what can be done on the app right now?

It’s a beta demo / waitlist app which highlights how the final app will look and work, it’s launching next month!

Are there any competitors you know off? If so what makes $curate different?

There are many projects offering crypto cashback credit cards etc, but they have expensive fees attached to it and the cashback offers are low

Our product is totally different as we’re offering a new alternate marketplace first with crypto rewards attached to it.

So the difference is low fees and a complete shopping and reward experience right?

Yes and our sexy & slick UI/UX ;)

As you just said witouth marketing there were a decent amount of people to download the app but what are your strategies to ensure mass adoption of the project for more users?

We’ll be running a twitter campaign starting next week, we’re working with 3 crypto influencers which we can’t name as yet who will be running a series of tweets raising awareness. We also have a live video interview coming up with a crypto YouTuber and then once the app is out next month we’ll be running targetted Facebook and Instagram ads.

Have you looked aside from crypto marketing?

Our social media ad campaign will be targeting millennials and shoppers across North-America and Europe primarily via Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest ads. Our marketing strategist will be optimising our ads.

Early 2021 we’ll also start influencer marketing with Instagram influencers/stars and YouTubers with a viral social following which all the kids follow nowadays. They ain’t cheap but we’ll be working with them for sure!

How will the platform be easy to use for new platform users?

Our user onboarding is very intuitive and user friendly. We use hot wallet tech to create wallets for new users without wallets. We also provide them zero fee on transfers and withdrawals, so users can deposit or withdraw their tokens anytime during their shopping experience.

I just saw you mentioning about having a staking platform, could you tell us a little more about this?

The staking platform is curate.finance

We offer an industry high of 1600% APR for staking your XCUR tokens. We want to create value through the app but also through our staking platform and the fact we’ve locked up 2.5 million XCUR tokens with TeamFinance. Curate will also be using 25% of funds generated from our main business to initiate buy backs and burns to ensure the value of the coin remains stable and keep inflation stable.
We also plan on introducing rewards in ETH in the near future. It will be the first of its kind. Stake XCUR and earn a portion of your rewards in ETH.

James had to take a business call, so Mo stepped in to finish the AMA with us. Welcome Mo ;)

Aren’t you afraid of to many dumps besides your tactics to tackle it?

That was definitely a concern, the high APY is promotional currently and will reduce as more users partake. We are also really confident in our buyback abilities and strategic investment partnerships we are working on to counter the inflation and maintain our desired price level.

Any idea how this will look like over the months?

It will definitely settle, however it is hard to say an exact figure . We target to maintain a 70–100% APY consistently after the promotional period. Similar to PICKLE.

Where can we best buy $curate right now? And where else do you guys plan on listing in the future?

Curate is currently trading on Uniswap. Listing on p2pb2b in December, followed by white ex and trader one.
We have also been approached by biki and Bilaxy, however feel we are in the early stages to engage that yet as we are still a small cap coin.

I’m curious about all the tokenomics aswell

Currently : 2.25mil is locked up in Team Finance, and will continue to be relocked for the forseable future one month at a time. Roughly 1 million tokens are owned by Private investors. 1.2 mil available on uniswap. And the rest is owned by the team and used currently to pay salaries, which our team takes in xcur.

Does Curate serve only as a platform for displaying fashion items? Or is it also possible to make purchases directly from the App? Can anyone sell their products through Curate?

It is an all in one platform , Social and purchases can eb made. It’s available to all who make it through our vigorous KYC to prevent any fake/fraudulent goods.

As an investor, safety is always one of the biggest concerns. What kind of security protection do you provide for the curate finance platform? How to ensure the safety of customer assets?

Code is publicly available and is used by most major staking platforms, we incorporate safemath which is a command that encrypts all essential code to prevent hacks.

Now, the token launch process is easy, but to develop the ecosystem, stabilize prices, expand the market is a challenge in every project? So what are your team first steps towards solving this problem? what is your plan to maintain token price & supply in the market?

We will be incorporating a simple form of Capital Structure to initiate Buy backs, Depending on the Net asset value of the company this model may change. But buy backs, and utility of token will be the major incentives to hold and incease the value of the token.
